Before tattooing became the medium, the foundation was already there: color, composition, structure, and how art interacts with a surface.
Born and raised in Caracas, Venezuela, Luis grew up surrounded by a vibrant creative culture. By 17, he was competing in and winning graffiti competitions, developing an instinct for scale, color, movement, and visual impact.
Luis graduated with honors in industrial design. That training brought structure to the creativity: form, balance, proportion, negative space, and the ability to visualize how individual elements work together before execution begins.
Luis continued developing his tattoo practice in Miami, refining the technical side of his work and building a portfolio centered on realism, strong color, custom composition, and larger projects.
In 2020, an opportunity brought Luis permanently to New York. Today he works from Soho, creating custom pieces for local clients and people who travel specifically to work with him.

The principles behind every custom piece.
Placement, movement, anatomy, proportion, and negative space are considered before the tattoo begins. The body becomes part of the composition.
Contrast, saturation, spacing, and detail are planned with the healed tattoo in mind — not only how the piece looks immediately after the session.
The idea starts with your references, placement, scale, and goals. From there, the design is developed specifically around the project.
Miami → New York City
After building his practice in Miami, Luis moved permanently to New York in 2020. His Soho location now serves clients from New York and people traveling from outside the city for custom tattoo projects.
